Sulaiman Al-Dakheel, General Manager of Gulf Health Council for Cooperation Council States
Mr. Sulaiman Al-Dakheel is the General Manager of the Gulf Health Council for Cooperation Council States. He has previously served as Advisor within the Ministry of Health and Assistant Director of the Minister's office in Saudi Arabia. In addition, he has served as Chief Financial Officer for Medical Services at Johns Hopkins Aramco Hospital in Dhahran.
Mr. Al-Dakheel holds a bachelor degree in Information Systems Management from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and a master degree in Business Administration. He has participated in many training courses in leadership, finance, and accounting. His high level of management skills enabled him to work as a Director of Finance and Accounting as well as the Director of Strategic Planning for Medical Services at Aramco.
He has participated in various international and regional conferences and seminars, and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).
Throughout the course of his career, Al-Dakheel has met with many official VIP figures, including ministers, representatives of ministers, members of the diplomatic corps and heads of regional and international health organizations. His expertise and high-level contacts have enabled him to contribute significantly to the development of the Gulf Health Council and its award-winning successes.
